布大的硕士专业对英本成绩的要求基本都是2:1，但不代表2:2的学生没有机会。
很多专业也会考虑二等二学生，但有一些前提要求，要求有相关工作经验或实际操作经验。
例如MSc Marketing市场营销硕士的录取要求中说“如果学位等级低，但有相关工作经验，会被case by case 考虑”。
有类似要求的专业包括：

有些专业的录取要求表述，“特殊情况下也考虑二等二学生”，但未说明是哪些特殊情况，这样表述的大多是健康科学学部的专业，如以下专业：

伯明翰大学有一些专业最低录取要求是2:2，例如：
• Computer Science MSc
• MA Inclusion (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
• Advanced Mechanical Engineering MSc
还有一些专业标准录取要求是2:1，但对于有工作经验或核心专业课成绩高的申请者，可以放宽到2:2，这类专业包括：

除此之外，伯明翰大学也降低了语言要求。
法律 LLM 、 LLB 课程雅思要求自2024年起，将从总分 7.0 分（单项最低 6.5 分）降至总分 6.5 分（单项最低 6.0 分）；
国际商务硕士 MSc International Business 课程的雅思要求也已降至雅思6.5分（单项最低6.0分）。
埃克塞特大学2024年秋季入学的部分专业录取要求进行了大幅调整，其中不少涉及2:2成绩的同学。
